Covering Caithness, Inverness, Orkney & Shetland, the Western Isles, Moray, Ross-shire and Aberdeenshire, I am a classically trained violinist with over three decades of experience. I hold both the ARSM and the DipABRSM diploma titles from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in Violin Performance. I am also a former member of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra (SFO), having played as a member of First Violins at concerts in York, Aberdeen, and Edinburgh. I perform many genres of music at weddings and events, on amplified acoustic violin with a very good quality portable sound system. I have an extensive track list and I perform with backing tracks (unless requested to perform certain pieces entirely solo). I take requests for favourite music covers, and I specialise in pop covers, film music and Classical repertoire. I can also perform a selection of traditional Scottish fiddle or folk tunes. I'm an experienced violin teacher too, and still teach in my free time! Please enquire if you would like to make a booking - including from further afield, as I do travel.
